Ish - her dad is chief so as his daughter that's as near to princess in that culture. She's a Disney heroine at any rate.

I consider her 'strawberry blonde.' Definitely not red/ginger enough for me to call a redhead, but not as pure-blonde as they now depict her.

No she was ginger - rewatch the original film. In the making of Sleeping Beauty (on one of the DVD bonus discs with the platinum edition I believe) the animators even talk about choosing blonde hair for Aurora to mark her out from Cinderella, whose official hair colour on the Disney palette was something like 'burnt orange'.
They have only made her blonde in the modern Disney Princess toy range. Her dress was also silver white not blue.
